We created a dynamic comic book universe featuring recognizable Syrian environments and characters, transforming educational messaging on psycho-social health and WASH into engaging visuals and storytelling. Our project included two interactive games promoting mental and physical well-being and cultural acceptance of waste management volunteers, along with two comic books focused on children with disabilities and education. Our stories centered around Ahlam and Zaki’s world, two teenage superheroes who live in a refugee camp and solve problems with their powers. We also created an illustrated memoir depicting the real-life narratives of health care workers responding to the earthquake crisis and resulting issues in Syria.
